from Early Childhood   

Primarily we use the High Scope curriculum to instruct our children. Excerpts from other positive parenting concepts together with input from our parents make our program very rich.

Promote creative representation — Imitation, recognition, role playing to encourage good Citizenship and human relationships. Materials: Blocks, housekeeping equipment, Show and share etc.

Language and literacy — talking, describing, scribbling, dictating stories to develop literacy skills through stories, recitals. Materials: books, computers discs and videos, sound recorder etc.

Initiative and social relations — making choices, problem-solving, relationship-building to teach working and living skills. Through participating in activities promote independence and responsibility and problem solving while learning to manipulate materials. Materials: construction materials, puzzles, interactive materials.

Movement — bending, running, dances to improve sensory motor skills. Through indoor and outdoor games, eye and hand coordination activities, and body control through dance. Material: Music player, scissors and paper, bikes, slides, puzzles etc

Music — singing, playing instruments to encourage positive self expression. Through music, rhythms, art and craft, and storytelling. Materials: Play and recording devices, books, clay, paint, collage etc.

Classification and seriating — describing shapes, sorting, matching. Materials: construction  materials, puzzles, interactive materials

Numbers counting, space filling / emptying, time starting/stopping to absorb math and science concepts. Through observations, constructions, manipulating and measuring. Materials: Toys, Paper, writing boards, Blocks, Housekeeping toys, Crayons, Pencils, Puzzles etc.

Computers are often a regular part of our program; teachers select developmentally appropriate software for children to use when they want to. Work with parents to promote physical growth and development by providing parents with information about health screenings, and immunizations, and results of constant developmental assessments while implementing a program that stimulates the children for kindergarten readiness at the center.

TODDLER PROGRAM

Encourage positive self expression through music, rhythms, 
art and craft, and storytelling. Materials: Play and recording 
devices, books, clay, paint, collage etc.

Working with Families

We work with families to promote physical growth and development by providing parents with information about health screenings, and immunizations, and results of constant physical assessments while implementing a program of toddler stimulation; or for the Preschoolers, mental and physical preparation for Kindergarten. Excepts from positive parenting concepts together with input from our parents, make our program very rich. "You can do it. I will show you how. " is our message to the child.

Play Time

"May I play my basketball now?" some kid would ask. For even though all activities with our kids take place in a fun atmosphere, for very good reasons, most kids have a need to run around. To accommodate this need, are various types of balls and bikes looking for kid play mates. There is the jungle gym and all kinds of play toys for those kids who want to pace a little slower.
